    Not that this would excuse his past behaviour, or even his current behaviour, but it seems like you’re in a closer position to judge this than most outside journalists. Is Mugabe going senile? I notice he seems to stammer a lot when he speaks English. If so, it’s all the more reason to believe that key military commanders are the real ones in charge.
