my friend’s child was attempted to be raped and they went to report to the police in mutorashanga and they did not do anything or write a report despite the alleged rapist being identified. then the alleged rapist verbaly assulted the mother of the poor girl and acussed her of reporting him to the police. then when my friend’s younger brother came to harare to tell his older brother what had happened the alleged rapist stroke again but this time aroundshe was sleeping with a friend in the room and they screamed and he ran away. still the police did not take any action after a report was made, when are they going to take action? after she is actually raped and killed? the father has bordered a bus to go there and physically solve the issue on his own, is he not going to be arrested after he overreacts and do something we all will regret?whose fault will it be? why do we have an incompetant police force in the first place….?
