I am a stunch supporter of democracy but i strongly feel that democracy and freedom should have boundaries. Much as we may talk of freedom, there can never be absolute freedom as this will lead to moral anarchy and the subsequent disintergration of the social fabric. You may not be hurting someone physically, but spiritually that will be extremely hurting if we are to go to the word of God. It should be borne in mind that when God created heaven and earth he gave us reasonable authourity and freedom. Read the Lord’s Ten Commandments; Exodus 20 esp vs 14. I am not imposing my own values on you, but trying to put the record straight on the word of God whether we may like it or not. It is said, “ignoring the facts does not change the facts”.
