We included Merit Rumema’s blog on the definition of fatherhood in our newsletter today, and got this reply from a subscriber:

A father is a provider to the family .His role is to offer protection to his family and be responsible for them. If some one can not provide for the kids through non compliance not by virtue of not having the means then that person is not a father. These are issues which should be encompassed into our constitution as a lot of children are suffering through irresponsible fathers. A real father is someone who loves his kids and provide for them even if he is not the biological father.
